Here at Dental Nursing Academy we can offer DBS checks formerly know as CRB check. We can complete your check all online.
We can carry out DBS checks for all team member or individual staff members and have been doing so for several years.
The CQC states that all clinical staff require a DBS check. This includes dentists, dental hygienists, dental hygiene therapists and dental nurses.
If the practice does begin a member of staff’s employment while waiting for their DBS check to be completed, then the CQC would expect a risk assessment to be carried out and action taken to mitigate any risks so please ensure this is completed.
There is no general requirement for non-clinical staff (for example reception or administrative staff) to have a DBS check. This depends on their specific duties and responsibilities.
Process to complete your DBS
Please contact info@dentalnursingacademy.co.uk and add in the subject header ref: DBS Our Office Manager will then get in touch with you and request payment.
Once payment has been received then you will complete all the information required, and once documents have been verified, we will be in touch with you.
Once we have received notification back that this has been completed you will receive confirmation via email.We can offer discounts on multiple applications so please contact us for pricing.
